It contains new Banished leaders Pavium and Voridus, a new set of campaign levels, and a new multiplayer gamemode called Terminus Firefight. r/HaloWars2: A community of Halo Wars fans.

I'd like to try more diverse strats, and I'd hate to be dismissing an entire category of units because I don't get them.A must-play for any fan of the franchise. Lackluster?Ĭan someone give me some tips about how and when they are supposed to be used, because it's clearly all going over my head. You can only really use them with infantry builds (except forge I suppose) as otherwise they will slow your force down, and as leader powers are no longer connected to the hero unit like they were in Halo Wars, their attacks all seem. I don't really understand their purpose, either. This means I never have time in the early game to be producing heros, only in the lategame when I have completed all the upgrades and just want something to do with the building. I generally use my armoury/war centre for the population and unit build speed upgrades first, then finally the base improvements. Super units I do rarely as a last-ditch effort when my whole force gets wiped, but with Hero units I don't really understand their purpose. I've been doing fairly well so far on Halo Wars 2 (Though on console, so I'd be destroyed by half the sub still), but I've found myself never building hero units.
